The purpose of the Prison ministry is to inform those who are incarcerated that God is a forgiving and merciful God, and no matter what they have done, they can be forgiven. The Prison Ministry teaches the word of God to those behind prison walls with hopes that they will receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and be filled with the Holy Ghost. Those working with the Prison ministry present the Gospel in clear and understandable terms, pray, and follow up with those who have accepted Christ to nurture in their new life as a Christian.
