Children of God Ministries is a Certified Recovery Church with the state of Tennessee through our Stepping Forward ministry, providing Christ-centered recovery that focuses on the solution and not the problem. It is based on the belief that the grip of sin and addiction can only be broken by the power of grace through Jesus Christ. This ministry provides support and encouragement and applies the truth of God’s Word to help those facing addiction to experience the freedom found in Jesus Christ and being drug-free and sober. The ministry sponsors and mentors people recently released from jail. Stepping Forward meets the fourth Friday of each month from 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Children of God Ministries is a Faith Based Congregation certified by Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse services. The certification is based on the following criteria:

Providing Spiritual/Pastoral Support
Viewing addiction as a treatable disease, not a moral issue
Embracing and support people in recovery and walk with them on their journey
Providing a visible outreach in the community
Sharing recovery information
Hosting recovery support group
